bamber bridge scooter club

There is a Gala Day in aid of Dave Watson this Sunday 18th July at Bamber Bridge Football Club 11am - 11pm! For those of you who do not know the Gala Day is being held to raise some funds for David and his family as he was involved in an accident in Afghanistan which resulted in him loosing his right arm and both of his legs.

As his Mum and Dad (Angela and Kevin) are into the scene and have been on numerous scooter related do's and rideouts I think it would be nice if we have a bit of a turnout from the scooter club to show our support for David and the family! Me, my Dad and Meat Man are attending anyway as we are doing the BBQ but still think it would be nice to get a few scooters there. No rideout or anything involved just a day to raise some funds for the family. The link below is the facebook invite where you can find more information about it and no doubt it will be being mentioned at the meeting tonight. Me and my Dad mentioned it to a few scooter clubs on the rideout yesterday and they all seem willing to come along and help raise some money so lets try and get a few there from our club.

Thank you so so much to all the scooterists that turned up on Sunday and to everyone who donated. The BBQ that BBSC did made £952.76 and the grand total for the day was just over £6000 which was a bloody good do! All money is going to David and the family and will be used for their chosen charities and also for themselves as none of them have been working properly since the accident.

We also managed to win a few raffle prizes as well, not suprise after how many tickets I had lol. Winners were Mad Gaz, Cunny (Vesperados) and Ginger (A57's).
